These Terms govern your use of the That's the Spot Massage Therapy website and the massage services we provide. By using this site or booking an appointment, you agree to them. Please read them — especially the health and cancellation sections.
1. Who we are
That's the Spot Massage Therapy is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by George Alvarado, Licensed Massage Therapist (Texas License #MT149213), located at 3765 S Alameda St, Suite 305, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to That's the Spot Massage Therapy; "you" refers to you, the client or website visitor.
2. Not medical advice
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. Nothing on this website — and nothing said during a session — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not diagnose illness or injury, prescribe medication, or perform any service that requires a medical license.
Always consult a physician about any medical condition, pain, or symptom. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, are recovering from surgery or injury, or are under a doctor's care, get your doctor's approval before booking. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911.
3. Your responsibility to disclose
Your safety depends on what you tell us. You agree to inform George — before and during your session — of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medications, recent surgeries, or areas of pain or sensitivity, and to speak up immediately if any pressure or technique is uncomfortable. We reserve the right to decline or stop a session if we believe massage is not safe or appropriate for you.
4. Appointments
We are appointment only. Sessions are booked in advance so every client gets a private, unrushed visit. You can book online, or call or text (361) 373-9592. Business hours are 7 days a week, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM; actual availability is shown live in our booking system.
Please arrive a few minutes early. Arriving late may shorten your session so the next client isn't delayed, and the full price still applies.
5. Cancellations and no-shows
Life happens. If you can't make your appointment, please let us know as far ahead as possible so the time can be offered to someone else. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in us requiring prepayment for future bookings, or declining future bookings.
6. Pricing and payment
Current service prices are listed on this website and in our booking system. Prices are subject to change at any time; the price shown when you book is the price you pay for that appointment. Payment is due at the time of service unless arranged otherwise. Payments are processed through our booking platform (GlossGenius) or in person. Where offered, "Buy Now, Pay Later" is provided by a third party at checkout and is subject to that provider's terms and approval — we are not the lender.
7. Discounts and promotions
Discounts and promotions (including any military discount) are offered at our discretion, may require proof of eligibility, cannot be combined unless we say so, may have an expiration date, and may be changed or discontinued at any time. Please mention any discount when you book.
8. Professional conduct — zero tolerance
That's the Spot Massage Therapy is a strictly professional, therapeutic practice. Any request, comment, or behavior of a sexual nature is absolutely prohibited. The session will be ended immediately, full payment will be due, you will be refused future service, and the incident may be reported to law enforcement.
We also reserve the right to refuse or end service to anyone who is intoxicated, abusive, contagious, or otherwise unsafe to treat.
9. Minors
Clients under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must remain present during the session as required by Texas law.
10. Use of this website
This website is provided for general information and to let you request or book an appointment. You agree not to misuse it — including attempting to hack, disrupt, scrape, or overload the site, submitting false information, or using our contact form to send spam or unlawful content.
All content on this site — text, images, logos, and design — is owned by That's the Spot Massage Therapy or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
11. Third-party links and services
This site links to and embeds third-party services (such as our booking platform and Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of those services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Accuracy of information
We work to keep prices, hours, and service details accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that everything on this site is free of errors or omissions. Information on this site may change without notice.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
This website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Massage results vary from person to person, and we make no guarantee of any specific outcome or result.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, That's the Spot Massage Therapy and George Alvarado will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, and is part of these Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nueces County, Texas.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted, and we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use this site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
